Why do I see the same strip everyday?
Unless otherwise indicated (ei: gone on vacation), "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" is released daily. The reason you may be seeing the same strip as "yesterday" is because your browser is caching the page to make it load faster or my "day" is your "night" depending on where I am in the world. Simply click "REFRESH" and it should load up the new panel, if not, rest assured, one will show up within a 24 hour period. If it still doesn't update, confirm the date on the panel is the same as "today", depending on where you are in the world, its possible you may have to visit us a little earlier / later to view the updated panel. If you visit us about the same time everyday, you should be fine.
Can you e-mail me "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky"?
I do plan on doing this in the future but until then, bookmark our home page and visit it daily. There is also an Archive if you missed the previous strips.
When did "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" start and more importantly... WHY?
"Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" started on August 14th, 2006 - the same day the web site was released. As my background is biology, I spent way too many hours looking through a microscope observing the microscopic world - this is my way of paying myself back for all the headaches I would get after having one eye open and the other closed for far too long. (If you are familiar with microscopes, you know exactly what kind of headaches I am talking about).
The additional motivating factor behind creating my own comic strip is I was tired of seeing violence being passed on as "entertainment" to children. Watch "kids" cartoons and it doesn't take long to realize the constant use of this, repeated over and over aren't a positive message to be sending to kids - no matter how "silly" or "comical". I wanted to create something that would open peoples eyes (adult and child) to the endless possibilities we all have in front of us and to new ways of thinking. There are alternatives to the traditional methods of viewing life - it's my job to expose them ;-)
Why do I see a big X where an image should be?
This can be caused by two things:
- I just happen to be updating the website when you choose to visit
- The server is being overloaded temporarily
The easiest solution is to simply click "REFRESH" in your browser and everything should load up fine.
Where can I buy some "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" stuff?
I am planning to release stuff shortly, until then - you have a marketplace to learn more about the world around you.
Is it alright to make a copy "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" for use on my own website, brochure or for use in any other medium?
Unlike Amoebas, I can't just stretch myself all day and eat what shows up in front of me ;-) If you wish to use my comic strip for personal or commercial use, please contact me (click "Artist" in the navigational bar for my e-mail). Fees and restrictions vary depending upon usage and are decided upon on a case-by-case basis.
If you DO NOT have written permission to use "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" then you are violating worldwide copyright laws. If you see "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" in a publication, feel free to contact me to confirm that they have permission to use it... I can always use a windfall and I have no problem sharing a portion of the proceeds as a reward ;-)
I am a great fan of "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" and I want to add a gallery with comic panels that are my favorite onto my site... I even had a friend who offered to create an automated system to mirror your content onto mine... is that alright?
Simple answer - NO. Taking material from this site and displaying it on yours without prior WRITTEN approval is a copyright violation. Please don't use any material from this site (including text, images, animations etc.) without prior written approval. I am creating a "download" section to allow fans to show their support - which I greatly appreciate - unless otherwise indicated, you are free to use that material for your own personal use without written permission.
I love "Adventures of Stinky and Sticky" but wish it was in my newspaper or journal - what can I do?
Easy - contact the editor and say "I WANT TO SEE THE ADVENTURES OF STINKY AND STICKY IN YOUR NEWSPAPER". They should get the message ;-)
I have a question not found on this page - how do I get it answered?
